In addition, an award was given to Margaret “Peggy” Lambert, a former advisor for Lone Star College-Kingwood’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. The original award was lost in Hurricane Harvey.

Coyotes Remain Undefeated Against the Hurricanes
Lone Star College- Kingwood Coyotes against the Lone Star College- North Harris Hurricanes for a basketball game. The Coyotes are undefeated before and after this game occurred. The game ended with Kingwood Coyotes scoring 68 points and the North Harris Hurricanes scoring 43 points.
Halloween Bash 2019
The Poetry, Music and Songwriting club hosts a spooky Halloween bash for the students. Events include a Halloween costume contest, free pizza, and a talent show. Students and faculty took the Halloween spirit to heart and dressed up in horrifying and dazzling costumes such as Día de los Muertos, pirates, and scientific witches.
