After serving Lone Star College-Kingwood for the past 12 years, President Katherine B. Persson has officially announced her retirement as LSC-Kingwood’s President. However, she will stay as a LSC-Kingwood employee until December 2020 and has thought about writing a book about her experience recovering from Harvey. Her successor has not been decided, but a search is in the process. Her successor is planned to be on campus by the summer minimester.
