Lone Star College-Kingwood has officially announced how they are going to continue classes in the face of the rising anxiety to contain the COVID-19 virus from spreading. The college decided to extend spring break in order to give time to decide a plan for its students.
The plan came out earlier today and is as follows:
- Lone Star College System will close all of its building as of March 18, 2020, at 4:00pm
- All prior online classes will resume on March 23, 2020.
- By April 13, 2020, all other classes, including the eight-week mini-mester classes, that can be put online will resume. The classes allowed to go online will vary from campus to campus.
- The end of the semester has been changed from May 10, 2020, to May 22, 2020.
