At 1:38 this afternoon, Lone Star College-Kingwood sent out a system-wide notification, telling all students that the campus is on lockdown. While students and faculty began to barricade themselves in their rooms, no one seemed to know what was going on.

There has been no confirmation of an active shooter, but there have been sightings of police officers going from building to building.
Remember students and faculty, please stay safe and hidden. Do not put yourself in a dangerous situation.
